HKLiving: Passion for craftmanship is the basis for the development of this traditional Taiwanese lantern. All items have been created in ‘the last crafts workshop’ in the mountains of Taiwan. One worker creates the framework using local Makino bamboo, another then applies the fabric giving the frame extra strength and finally a third craftsman folds the fabric around the frame bringing the piece together.
