The London Sofa By FBC London During a private tour of the Pimlico Road Design District last week I was introduced to the team at FBC London. Their shop on Pimlico Road is filled with a carefully edited collection that represents the FBC design ethos. From beautiful ceramics, to furniture, vases, incredible lighting and a lot more, but there’s one piece in particular that I locked eyes on, the London Sofa. This sofa has the perfect curves, just enough to make it feel contemporary, but still functional. Styling this sofa is pretty easy, in the image below you can see that cushions have been placed along the curve, which adds comfort, but when showing off a space, I’d move them to the centre so as to highlight those curvaceous arms. The London Sofa comes in two sizes, 2400mm and 2800mm, the bigger the better in my opinion as this is a real show piece and visually dominates the living room. FBC London make all their furniture in the north of England to enable them to have control over production and quality. This shows in their pieces and we all know how important it is to support businesses who invest locally in skills.
