The stalls were selling these fabulous fabrics with geometric designs that women adorned themselves like jewelry, which we felt that each pattern harbored a secret meaning which took the place of mood. When I decided to draw a chair, I wanted simple, clear, functional. Pine plywood with exposed layers and blotchy skin quickly became. And when I saw the first chair, blonde and proudly on its four feet, I had immediately want the drape of her high wax color, combining the grounds that every chair is unique, with its own character and together they form a colorful family like a ray of sunshine immediate brightening even the most gloomy day.
