Shell is an enduring design exercise.‎ With a highly memorable and iconic geometry, Shell represents a direct dialogue between backrest and structure, between solid and malleable, wood and metal.‎The aim was to create an all-round product, capable of fitting into both private and a public spaces, due to its modularity and its different finishes this porpouse became possible.‎ The structure has been developed in a bigger thickness than usual in order to give this product character, without being invasive.‎ Thanks to its hidden fittings, the plywood shell seems to be simply coupled on the structure, creating a clean and easy to understand unit.
