Studio MUJU Hizz - rocking chair Size: 70 x 72 x 90 cm Materials: Matt lacquered African teak solid wood, fabric For the Tanween by Tashkeel exhibition, and as an extension of the works created for the Tanween programme – Studio MUJU present two limited edition furniture pieces. Hizz is a play on the traditional rocking chair, using boldly accentuated geometric forms. Pushing the structural limits of the chair, the back hangs suspended. Freed from the seat, it appears floating between the seat arms and base. Artist Biography Studio MUJU are Mentalla Said and Jumana Taha who joined forces two years ago, after they developed a close professional relationship collaborating on multiple large-scale interior design projects.
